As we all are ready for spring and warmer weather, it’s time for the Town Highway Department to pick up brush during the months of April through November.
During the 1st full week of each month brush is picked up for properties on the north side of Broadway and the 3rd week of each month brush is picked up for properties on the south side of Broadway.
Our team will start picking up brush Monday mornings, please have your brush to the road by 6:30 a.m. All brush should be piled no more than 18’ long and nothing over 4” diameter, with cut ends facing the road in a single row will be picked up. There will be a 2 (two) truckload maximum per month for brush pickup.
We are not able to pick up any stumps, root balls and yard waste. Also, no lot clearings or contractor generated yard waste will be picked up, this is the responsibility of your contractor to rid of any waste.
