We appreciate your patience as our DMV offices experience normal to higher-than-normal transaction volumes this week. To help us provide the best possible service, we encourage you to make a reservation.
At the Erie County Auto Bureau, our goal is to serve you efficiently in a safe and clean environment.
Appointments are strongly encouraged but not required. Customers with appointments receive priority and can use the DMV Express Lane for faster service. Walk-in customers are accepted up to 15 minutes before branch closing, subject to availability.
To ensure the best experience, please come prepared with all required documentation and forms. To assist as many customers as possible, only three transactions are allowed per appointment.
Please use the DMV Document Guide to help you get READY and RESERVE a convenient time for you to RENEW LOCAL at a local Auto Bureau in an effort to keep your hard-working tax dollars in your WNY community.
For the best experience at the Erie County Auto Bureau, please Get Ready, Contact Us, and Make or Edit an Appointment before your visit.
