NYS DMV to Temporarily Suspend Services in February as New, Modernized System Launches
All DMV offices serving Erie County will temporarily suspend operations over the Presidents’ Day weekend. Beginning Friday, February 13th at 12:00 p.m., all in-person DMV offices will close, with online and phone services unavailable statewide through Wednesday, February 18th.
DMV services, both in person and online, are to resume on Wednesday, February 18. To ensure a smooth transition, appointments will be required for all in-person visits from February 18th through February 20th at all Erie County Auto Bureau Branch Offices. Mobile DMV services in Grand Island and Concord will also be suspended and will resume the following week.
