Kearns Announces Re-Opening of the Erie County Auto Bureau in Depew

County Clerk to showcase renovated DMV branch

Erie County, NY – Erie County Clerk Michael P. Kearns announced the Grand Re-Opening of the newly renovated Auto Bureau located at 2122 George Urban Blvd. in Depew will be Monday May 13, 2024. Hours of operation for this branch office will be 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Customers can apply for their driver’s permits and vehicle licenses that include commercial, motorcycle, 19A, REAL ID and Enhanced Driver’s Licenses or non-Driver IDs, turn-in license plates and complete many other Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) transactions.  As always, motorists are encouraged to “Renew Local” and patronize the Erie County Auto Bureau when renewing their vehicle registrations and driver’s licenses in an effort to keep vital revenue here in Erie County.

The newly remodeled Auto Bureau branch in the Urbandale Plaza is one of 6 locations operated by the Erie County Clerk’s Office. Appointments are strongly encouraged, but not required. Walk-in service is available. However, appointments do take priority.
