ERIE COUNTY, NY — Erie County Clerk Michael P. Kearns announced that the Erie County Clerk’s Mobile Auto Bureau will return to Boston Town Hall on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This marks the Mobile Auto Bureau’s second visit to Boston this year, continuing the effort to make DMV services more accessible to residents throughout Erie County.
Hosted by Boston Town Supervisor Jason Keding, the Mobile Auto Bureau will be stationed at Boston Town Hall, located at 8500 Boston State Road. Residents can complete DMV transactions close to home without traveling to a traditional Auto Bureau location. No appointment is required; service will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
“Bringing DMV services directly into our communities is what the Mobile Auto Bureau is all about,” said Erie County Clerk Michael P. Kearns. “Following our earlier visit to Boston this year, we’re pleased to return and continue serving residents who may otherwise have to travel a considerable distance for routine DMV transactions. Whether we’re in the Northtowns, Southtowns or our more rural communities, our goal is to make government services more convenient and accessible. I thank Supervisor Keding for welcoming our team back to Boston.”
“Having the Mobile Auto Bureau return to Boston Town Hall gives our residents another convenient opportunity to take care of their DMV needs right here in our community,” said Boston Town Supervisor Jason Keding. “We appreciate Clerk Kearns and his team for recognizing the importance of bringing these services to our rural residents and for continuing to make local access a priority.”
The Erie County Clerk’s Mobile Auto Bureau travels throughout the county to bring DMV services directly to communities, helping residents save time and reduce the need for long-distance trips. The return visit to Boston reinforces the program’s commitment to reaching residents where they live.
