National Grid is distributing dry ice and bottled water due to prolonged power outages. Distribution is occurring on December 30, 2025 between 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at 320 Hyde Park, Niagara Falls (Niagara County), 18 Evans Street, Batavia (Genesee County), and 860 Hertel Ave, Buffalo (Erie). If you are experiencing a power outage, there are steps you can take to keep you, your family, and pets safe:
- Do not use a gas stove or oven for heat.
- Keep generators outside, away from windows.
- Keep refrigerators and freezers closed.
- Disconnect appliances to prevent electrical surges.

High wind warnings and blowing snow will make travel difficult on Monday-Tuesday. Use extreme caution when traveling and stay home if you can!
Town offices will be closing at 12:00pm on Dec. 31st & closed Jan. 1st to observe New Year's
