SHERIFF’S OFFICE PARTICIPATING IN NATIONAL DRUG TAKE-BACK EVENT
Clarence, NY – Erie County Sheriff John C. Garcia announced today that his office, in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Agency, is participating in the National Drug Take-Back Day at the Clarence Town Hall on Saturday, April 22. The public is encouraged to bring all unwanted prescriptions and over-the-counter medications for safe and proper disposal from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Liquids and sharps will not be accepted at the event. However, the public can find a drop box location near them by visiting www4.erie.gov/sheriff.

• The majority of opioid addictions start with prescription pills found in medicine cabinets at home.
