18 POUNDS OF METH, COCAINE, FENTANYL, GUN AND CASH SEIZED IN RAIDS OF TWO RESIDENCES

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff John C. Garcia reports that a Sheriff’s Office led investigation resulted in the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of narcotics, a loaded gun, and cash.

On July 25, 2023, the Sheriff’s Narcotics and Intelligence Unit, assisted by the Drug Enforcement Agency and the Buffalo Police Intelligence Unit, executed a search warrant at 130 Spring Meadow Drive, Williamsville, New York, and 28 West Cleveland Drive, Buffalo, New York. 

The search warrants were obtained following a month-long investigation into narcotics trafficking at the listed addresses. 

The targets of the investigation, 39-year-old Antoine Young, 37-year-old Jhazzon Brown, and 43-year-old Jameca Johnson, were found in possession of approximately eighteen pounds of methamphetamine, thirty ounces of cocaine, ten grams of fentanyl, a loaded .40 caliber handgun, with an extended magazine, and numerous scales and packing materials.

In the early morning of July 25, the Erie County Sheriff’s Narcotics and Intelligence Unit observed Antione Young and Jameca Johnson leave the residence. A traffic stop was conducted on Wehrle Drive in Amherst, and deputies recovered approximately twenty-five ounces of crack cocaine and $4,000.00.

Then a search warrant for the Spring Meadow Drive residence was executed, where approximately ten grams of fentanyl and three grams of cocaine were recovered along with drug paraphernalia.

An additional search warrant was executed at the lower apartment on West Cleveland Drive. Within the dwelling, approximately eighteen pounds of methamphetamine, a loaded handgun, four ounces of cocaine, more drug paraphernalia, and approximately $8,000.00 was recovered.

Antoine Young is charged with:

•    A class-A felony count of criminal possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine;

•    A class-A felony count of criminal possession of a narcotic – 8oz or more; 

•    A class-A felony of criminal possession of a narcotic – 4oz or more;

•    Two felony counts of criminal possession of a narcotic with intent to sell;

•    A felony count of criminal possession of a loaded firearm;

•    A felony count of criminal possession of a narcotic;

•    Two misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance;

•    Four misdemeanor counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia;

Jhazzon Brown is charged with:

•    A class-A felony of criminal possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine;

•    A class-A felony count of criminal possession of a narcotic – 4oz or more;

•    A felony count of criminal possession of a narcotic with intent to sell;

•    A felony count of criminal possession of a loaded firearm;

•    Two misdemeanor counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

Jameca Johnson is charged with:

•    A class-A felony count of criminal possession of a narcotic – 8oz or more;

•    Two felony counts of criminal possession of a narcotic with intent to sell;

•    A felony count of criminal possession of a narcotic;

•    Two misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance;

•    A misdemeanor count of criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

The three defendants are held at the Erie County Holding Center pending their arraignments.
