The Community Enrichment Committee reviews and discusses matters, requests, and proposals from legislators, the County Executive and various community groups affecting cultural and educational issues in Erie County. In effect, the committee assists in forming policies and legislation that will enhance education, culture and art in Erie County while promoting economic stimulus in this manner. Along with this responsibility comes the monitoring and evaluation of relevant departments of county government and agencies receiving county funds.
