Legislator Todaro

Hon. Frank J. Todaro
District 8

Hon. Frank J. Todaro a proud father, husband and founder/owner of Collision Masters and has spent his life fixing things that are broken.

Since he was 18 years old, Frank Todaro has successfully created jobs, ran his business, and put food on the table for his family and those around him. The American Dream is built on this simple idea; hard work leads to success.

Frank Todaro knows the value of a dollar, and how hard it is for working men and women to fight for a better life for their families. High taxes and over-regulation are killing jobs, but despite these odds Todaro has proven he knows how to grow in New York State.

At age 18, Frank Todaro took over Queen City Collision from his father in 1997 before merging with an auto body franchise four years later, where he was the youngest manager in company history. For nine years, Frank Todaro fixed problems, balanced books, and managed personnel while opening three new branches for the franchise. With thirteen years of business success under his belt, Frank was bit by the “entrepreneurial bug” and stepped to build his own business. Since 2011, Collision Masters has serviced thousands of cars a year, creating good blue-collar jobs and proving that the American Dream can still be achieved in Western New York.

Frank Todaro couldn’t sit on the sidelines any longer. After serving for four years on the board of Good Government Club of WNY, he decided it’s time to stand up for the hard-working families in his community. He serves on the Erie 1 BOCES Advisory Board for trade skills education, and was awarded the Commemorative Distinguished Alumni Award and was the keynote speaker in 2016. He has served on I-CAR Board for WNY to establish industry “best practices” since 2013, and was inducted into the Buffalo Business First “40 under 40” in 2018.

He knows the importance of putting family first. A fiscal conservative, Todaro hates waste and is determined to put the Erie County Taxpayer first. A hunter and sportsman, Frank is proud of his Second Amendment rights and has had a registered pistol permit for over 19 years. He coached his daughter’s baseball team in the Lancaster-Depew league and created an apprenticeship program to teach the next generation his trade.

Frank Todaro was elected November 2019 as County Legislator for the 2020-2021 term. He spent his entire life living in the 8th Legislative District, which covers the Towns and Villages of Lancaster, and Alden and parts of Cheektowaga, including all of the Village of Depew. Growing up in Depew-Cheektowaga, he attended Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament on French Road.  In 1992, Frank’s family moved up the road to Lancaster. He and his wife Cecile continue to live in Lancaster with their five children, and are parishioners at St Gabriel’s on Clinton Street.
