Taisha St. Jean Tard, a Buffalo, New York native, has seamlessly woven a tapestry of accomplishments, education, and community service throughout her remarkable journey. Graduating from Leonardo da Vinci High School in 2013, she continued her academic pursuits, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from Medaille College in May 2016. Her thirst for knowledge led her to attain a Master’s Degree in Marketing Communication from St. Bonaventure University in 2018.
Beyond academia, Taisha has garnered numerous accolades, including being recognized in the Business First 30 under 30, Changemakers 30 under 30 and receiving the Grassroots Rising Star and Community Service Awards. Her commitment to academic excellence is underscored by her inclusion in the Medaille College Dean’s List and the receipt of scholarships such as the Travers Collins Scholarship and the Heidi Raphael Scholarship. Taisha St. Jean served as the Chief of Staff for the Buffalo Common Council, contributing to the City's governance. Her dedication to education extends to her role as a former college professor at Medaille College. Additionally, she takes on a pivotal role as the Executive Director for the Miss Buffalo Scholarship Organization within the Miss America Opportunity Program, highlighting her commitment to empowering young individuals and supporting educational initiatives.
