The Highway Department will be canvassing the entire Town of Clarence, (NEW THIS YEAR!!) starting on Monday, Jan. 13. We will start in βZone 1β and work our way across Town. Every street will be covered once.
Additional pick-ups (NEW THIS YEAR!!) can be scheduled by calling the Highway Department office at -716-741-3210 during business hours (Weekdays, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.) Feel free to leave a message after hours and we will put you on the list for pickup as soon as our schedule allows us to do so.
Christmas Tree guidelines - Since the trees have to be recycled into mulch:
1. Plastic bags need to be removed.
2. Tree stands need to be removed.
3. Lights need to be removed.
4. All ornaments, angels or Josh Allen tree toppers need to be removed.
5. As much tinsel as you can get off, please.
6. Anything that is non-bio degradable needs to be pulled off the tree for pick-up.
Town-wide brush pickup will resume Monday Apr. 14, with a βsweepβ of the entire Town. Monthly Zoned pickup will resume May 5, in Zone 1.
