The Clarence Town Board approved the 2015 budget at the November 5, 2014 Town Board meeting. The Town’s General Fund, Highway Fund and Fire Protection District tax rates showed a slight decrease from the 2014 budget. The Town Board and Department Heads were able to craft a budget that stays under the New York State Tax Cap of 1.56% for the third year in a row. Both the Town Board and the Department Heads remain committed to running a fiscally conservative government that keeps the tax rate low for Town of Clarence residents while providing additional services for those same taxpayers in a cost efficient manner.
