Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro participated in the Inaugural Audrey Hamernik Memorial Lancaster/Depew Community Food Drive on Saturday, October 18th. Non-perishable food items were collected at three different Tops locations to be delivered to the Trinity Food Pantry, the St. Martha's Food Pantry and the Tri-Community Food Pantry. Food Drive participants included the Bowmansville Boy Scout Troop 601, Depew and Lancaster schools, and Twin District boy Scout Troop 545. Legislator Todaro provided support, along with Village of Depew Mayor Kevin Peterson, NYS Assemblyman Pat Chludzinski, SEFAR, and DCAT. Audrey Hamernik was a beloved member of the community with a true passion for helping others. She passed away one year ago after a lengthy illness.
