Legislator Todaro Recognizes Elizabeth Galanis-Miller for Women’s History Month

Legislator Frank Todaro honored Elizabeth Galanis-Miller today in recognition of her recent promotion to Executive Vice-President of Sealing Devices in Lancaster, NY. She was presented this proclamation in celebration of Women’s History Month, not only to congratulate Elizabeth but to showcase a woman who is making a significant contribution to her company and the business community. Moving forward, Elizabeth plans to continue the legacy of family ownership at the company.

Legislator Todaro said, “I was very pleased to present this proclamation to Elizabeth Galanis-Miller for her recent promotion to Executive Vice-President. She is an excellent example of female leadership in the workplace and I’m proud to have Sealing Devices in my district.”

Sealing Devices is located on Walden Ave in Lancaster where they manufacture hydraulic seals and related products to serve customers all over the world. The company was founded in 1963 by Terry Galanis Sr. from his home in Alden, before moving manufacturing into a plant in Depew and eventually expanding to a larger facility in Lancaster.
