Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro presented a ceremonial check to members of the Lt. Colonel Matt L. Urban VFW Post 7275 last week. Legislator Todaro secured a $30,000 grant that will be used to make repairs to the roof of the VFW’s Walden Avenue facility.
Legislator Todaro said, “Veterans organizations such as VFW Posts are very important to maintaining a community for our veterans after their service. I’m proud to have advocated for one of our local branches because funding like this allows them to focus resources on their mission of serving veterans.”
