Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro donated tickets for the Buffalo Bisons game this past Saturday to first responders within the district he represents as a gesture of appreciation. The offer was extended to those who live in Cheektowaga, Depew, Lancaster, and Alden to attend the game with their friends and family as recognition for the hard-work they put into protecting their communities.
Legislator Todaro said, “We can’t thank our first responders enough for the work they do to keep us safe. They may be called at all hours of the night to respond to emergencies and frequently drop what they’re doing to come to our aid when called upon. I wanted to extend to them an opportunity to have a fun, family-friendly afternoon and as a legislator, I will continue to do what I can to support them.”
The Buffalo Bisons played the Rochester Red Wings but despite an exciting game, lost 7-4. This was also the final home game of the season for the Bisons as their year comes to a close.
