LEGAL NOTICE ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE Clarence Fire District No. 1
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Clarence Fire District No. 1 will take place on December 9, 2025 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Clarence Fire Hall located at 10355 Main Street, Clarence, New York 14031, for the purpose of electing the following fire district officer:
One Commissioner for a five (5) year term commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2030.
All candidates for a District Office shall be residents of the Clarence Fire District No. 1, not convicted of any degree of arson. Persons seeking office must file a petition signed by not less than twenty-five (25) qualified voters of the Clarence Fire District No. 1, stating the position and term they are seeking, with the Secretary of the Clarence Fire District No. 1, at 10355 Main Street, Clarence, New York 14031. Such petition must be filed with and actually received by the Fire District Secretary on or before 5:00 p.m. on November 19, 2025.
Any elector of the Clarence Fire District No. 1 who shall be registered voter with the Erie County Board of Elections on or prior to November 17, 2025 and who shall have resided in the Clarence Fire District No. 1 for at least thirty days preceding such election shall be qualified to vote.
