Town Observes 218th Anniversary of its Founding

Today is Founders Day in the Town of Clarence. When the town was formed 218 years ago on March 11, 1808, it encompassed all of Erie and most of Niagara counties.

“I’m very proud to be the supervisor of this town,” said Supervisor Patrick Casilio at the end of today’s Town Board meeting. “We’ve always been headed in the right direction and even the founding fathers were very conservative with many of the actions they took to help make the town what it is today.”
