Zoom call attendees:
Amy Engler, Sarah Goodyear, Veronica Jenks, Dan Cummiskey, Dawn Snyder, Patrick Casilio, Dave Wind and Bob Altieri
1.) Amy Engler (Clarence Chamber) - The night went really well. Ran out of popcorn, glow items and dumplings. Will plan to order more popcorn next year. There was a concern with the homeless woman as well as the 3 vendors in the park selling their glow items. The homeless woman was brought to the attention of the town security officers. The 3 vendors were addressed by the Sheriffs. Both issues should be discussed before next years event.
- Having an ATM on site was mentioned by the committee. Amy knows where to get one.
2.) Sarah Goodyear (St. Paul's Church) - Ran out of all baked goods by 9:00 pm. Made $1,097 in profit! About the same as last year because they brought the same quantity of items.
3.) Veronica Jenks (Eagles Wings and MC) - Everything during the night went really well! New acts worked out great. Will continue to do the entertainment next year for everyone to enjoy!
- A better earlier time for the Yoga needs to be discussed.
- Should we think about having a band earlier in the evening?
-- Heard great feedback about our music!
4.) Dan Cummiskey (Sports Teams and Clarence Fire Company liaison) - All food items were sold out by 9:00 pm.
- Girl's Softball (hot dogs and hamburgers) - U14 team joined Bobby Baker this year. U14 will take over next year.
Made $1,000 in profit. Sold 350 hot dogs and 350 hamburgers. This compares to just 350 hot dogs that were sold in 2025.
- Boy's Baseball (ice cream) - Made $850 in profit. The line for ice cream was really long!
- Soccer club (Pizza) - Sold 32 pizzas! Their $1,380 profit will be donated to the fundraiser for Cole. This was a fantastic fundraiser for this young boy.
5.) Dawn Snyder (Clarence Community Foundation) -
- All chick-fil-a sandwiches were sold out by 8:15! All negative comments about why the event takes place on a Monday were changed after this extremely busy night!
- All water was sold out by 8:30 pm. Provided several cases of water to the workers for free. Will need to order more next year.
- Sold out of all snacks and drinks before 9:00 pm.
- The bounce houses went really well. Was easier getting kids in and out this year. Bounce houses were limited to kids 5 years and younger. Thinking about ordering one additional bounce house for next year.
- Parks was very helpful in resetting up the bounce house fence once it was determined that more space was needed inside the fence.
- All games went really well.
- Our Sunday set-up worked out really great. Will need to do this again next year.
- Getting flyers out 1 week earlier to the elementary schools worked out really well.
- 3 large 4'x8' signs worked out great. (Bob was reminded by Steve Leising that the signs need to be placed the other side of the sidewalks next year.
6.) Dave Wind (Boy Scout Troop 93)
- Parking went really well. Set-up was completed Sunday night.
- Need to figure out better way to get the cars thru the entranceway and off of Main Street. Suggestion made that they use 2 lanes of cars coming in off of Main Street.
- Dave mentioned that the parking at the white house was full before the event started.
- Dave suggested that we have a "drop-off" area identified for people going to the pool.
- The town workers roped off the areas behind the white house and the fire hall. This worked out good.
- Dave requested the use of a gator next year.
- The committee suggested that the Boy Scouts have a large sign at the entrance letting the people know the reason for their requested donation.
7.) Patrick Casilio (Music / DJ - All music went extremely well! Music and announcements were very easy to hear wherever you were in the park!
- The new cell tower should be in place before next years event. Will help to eliminate our cell phone / Wi-Fi concerns.
- Might have a lead on an ice chest so we can load it up with ice before our many town events.
- Let us know that there was a suggestion made by Clarence Fire Company that next year Beer is sold by cans.
8.) Dawn Kinney and Jessica Wruck (Clarence Youth Bureau)
- Lost and Found Table run by the Youth Bureau. This went really well! Only one child was lost and then found by her parent.
- Kids tables were very busy and went really well.
9.) Marty Helowicz (Clarence Citizens for Veterans)
- Beer went really well. All sold out by 8:30 pm. No profit numbers were available as of this meeting.
- Suggestion for using beer cans will be shared with Marty.
10.) Bill Weisbeck / Connie Martucci (Clarence Lions)
- Sold nachos with cheese and playground lions. Nachos were not sold out.
- Mentioned that walkie-talkies should be given out to all of the committee members. This was my fault. I had the walkie talkies but I handed only one out to only my fireworks contact. Since my cell phone worked getting hold of everyone this year I did not think that they were needed. This will be straightened out next year.
11.) Monica Mooney (Clarence Library)
- Table was very busy!
12.) Bob Altieri
- Fireworks went great!

- The Insurance process for each group went really well.
- Working with the Sheriffs groups went extremely well!
Miscellaneous Items;
Ice - We need to determine a way to get more ice. Having an ice chest in the pavilion?
Garbage - The garbage cans were all overfilled by the end of the night. We need to find another organization that can get involved to handle the garbage for us.
