Matthew is a meteorologist and the Science and Operations Officer at the National Weather Service in Buffalo, NY since the fall of 2024. Before that, he spent 6 years the the NWS office in Cheyenne, WY. Matthew received his Masters of Science in Atmospheric Science from Texas Tech University where he researched lightning flash sizes in thunderstorms and earned his Bachelors of Science in Meteorology from Penn State. He is originally from the Washington D.C. metro area.
