Budd has been part of the sports scene in Western New York since the late 1970s. A graduate of Clarence Central High School and Syracuse University, he worked as a reporter and talk-show host at WEBR Radio, served as the Director of Information for the Buffalo Sabres, and was a sports reporter and editor for The Buffalo News for more than 23 years. He has written 16 books, many of them on local sports subjects. Budd also serves as a Field Timing Coordinator for the Buffalo Bisons, and writes on local sports subjects for the website Buffalo Sports Page. Stu has spent 35 years at WGRZ TV doing sports. He worked in Rochester & Erie Pa. Now Stu does high school sports for WNYATHLETICS, He grew up in Rochester, moved to Erie in 1978 & Buffalo in 1985. Stu went to Monroe Community College and Syracuse University.
