Faizan M. Haq is a respected educator, community leader, and entrepreneur with over 30 years of academic and business experience. He has taught at Buffalo State University for more than two decades, specializing in Intercultural, Organizational, and International Communication, and previously served over 20 years at SUNY Buffalo.
His research and lectures focus on global and cultural understanding, covering topics such as media perceptions of Muslims, Middle Eastern affairs, and communication in a digital world. A frequent presenter in the Great Decisions and University Express programs, Mr. Haq has spoken on issues ranging from U.S.–Muslim world relations to the future of global leadership.
He holds a B.A. in American Studies from SUNY Buffalo and an M.S. in Multidisciplinary Studies from Buffalo State University. Beyond teaching, he has been an active advisor to student associations and continues to promote dialogue on diversity, peace, and community engagement.
