Darlene Sarver Johnson

Darlene came from a family of hoarders!...But good hoarders! As she was going through her grandmother's things she found 2 memorial scrapbooks that sent her on her family history journey. At a later time she was able to connect the Civil War pictures from the scrapbook, to letters she found in a shoebox. After graduating from Buffalo State with her teaching degree and then St. Bonaventure with a M.ED, Darlene taught in Houston, Tx and various NY locations. Along with her granddaughter's, she is an avid American Civil War reenactor and presenter. Recently, Darlene presented at the Fredericksburg National Cemetery for the Memorial Day Illumination where she spoke to nearly 3,000 people. Darlene resides in Springville, NY with my husband.
