Rhonda (RJ) Bent served the U.S. Government as a Supervisory Special Agent for the U.S. State Department for 21 years. In this role, she served, worked and lived overseas, where she not only learned the language and customs of the host country, but also solidified her experience managing security programs and crisis management in various threat level environments and with a diversity of audiences. She understands the need to protect and also be protected. In retirement, she created the Edgy Gazelle LLC security consulting firm that provides people-centric, innovative, trustworthy security services rooted in local values and care. RJ is also a mother, beekeeper, runner and Explore Buffalo Docent Tour Guide. Recently, she opened I Support the Girls Buffalo, an international organization that supports women experiencing homelessness and serves as the volunteer Affiliate Director. After years of travel, she happily calls Buffalo her hometown. Go Bills!
