The natural landscape has been drastically altered and fragmented from land management and development, and invasive species further degrade our ecological communities. Let's learn how we can read the landscape and learn how to make simple adjustments to our management and maintenance practices to benefit ecological function that can also be aesthetically appealing by selecting for native species, using various weed suppression techniques, and sustainably using materials on site. Short stroll may be involved please be prepared to walk in inclement weather. Limit 25 people. 2-hour class.
