| University Express

University Express began in 2012 with just a few locations. Today, the program has expanded to 30 senior centers and public libraries across Erie County. It offers two semesters each year—May through July and October through December—with approximately 400 classes per semester. All classes are free and open to adults ages 50 and older.

Classes are offered both in person and virtually through Webex, so you can join from home or attend on-site—whatever works best for you. UE now also offers free special events highlighting some of the area’s best cultural, artistic, and environmental treasures. Participants can enjoy unique programs in partnership with local arts organizations, nonprofits, and our beautiful parks, celebrating the richness of our region while learning something new. To register, call the site directly for in-person classes or visit erie.gov/ue to sign up for virtual sessions & special events.
