LANCASTER SENIOR CENTER REOPENS

Town of Lancaster officials, along with Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro, announced the re-opening of the Lancaster Senior Center. The Center had been closed for several weeks for improvements.  The Senior Center re-opens at 11am Wednesday, October 15th.

“I’m pleased that we are able to welcome our seniors back,” said Lancaster Town Supervisor Bob Leary.  “I know they have missed the socializing and activities they are able to enjoy here.  I’m sure they will be pleased with the improvements.”

“It’s important that we provide our seniors with a facility that meets their needs so they can recreate, dine, and socialize with friends,” said Legislator Frank Todaro.  “The work that was done on this facility was necessary, but it also ensures we are performing proper maintenance so the building can last for a long time to come.”

Improvements made to the Lancaster Senior Center include new siding, flooring, and roof, as well as new paint, skylights and electric partition.

All activities will resume at the Lancaster Senior Center on Wednesday
