Alden, N.Y. – On behalf of Erie County, Legislator Frank Todaro presented a $30,000 check to the Alden American Legion to help save the facility after its foundation suffered significant damage.
Legislator Todaro said, “When I learned the post needed significant repairs to keep their doors open, I quickly began advocating for funding from the County. Their facility is important to our veterans and the community as a whole. I thank the organization for the work they are doing and I am proud to support them in any way I can.”
Wallace Munn, Adjutant to the American Legion said, “Legislator Todaro in essence saved the American Legion of Alden. The Alden American Legion is delighted and overjoyed for his assistance and thanks him profusely.”
