Erie County Legislator John Mills is partnering with Erie County Senior Services to assist residents with the HEAP heating and cooling application process. There will be two events held on Wednesday, April 27th and Thursday, May 26th at the Eden Town Hall from 10am until 4pm. These events will be to help residents with the Home Energy Assistance Program application process for those who may be facing financial hardship and need assistance with their home energy costs. The event in May will be specifically for assistance with cooling costs only. Eden Town Hall is located at 2795 East Church Street and is open to all county residents.
Legislator Mills said, “I’m very pleased to be working with the Erie County Senior Services department to bring this type of assistance to those in our community who need it. Please take advantage of these outreach programs and contact my office with any questions.”
Residents seeking to apply must bring photocopies of identification for all members in the household and a shutoff notice, if applicable. They must also bring proof of all household resources and all income received in the last 30 days.
