PRIMETIME FUNDING APPROVED FOR LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS

Erie County Legislator Lindsay Lorigo is proud to announce that Primetime funding has been approved for several youth-serving organizations across her district. Each organization will receive $10,000 to support summer programming during the ten-week school recess period.

The following organizations have been awarded funding:

  • Girl Scouts of Western New York
  • Great Falls Council, Inc. – Boy Scouts of America
  • Be A Friend Program, Inc. – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie, Niagara, and the Southern Tier
  • Cornell Cooperative Extension of Erie County
  • Boys and Girls Club of East Aurora
  • Boys and Girls Club of Elma, Marilla, and Wales
  • Boys and Girls Club of Holland
  • Springville Youth Inc.
  • The Rural Outreach Center, Inc.
  • Town of West Seneca

“These programs provide more than just a way to keep kids busy during the summer,” said Legislator Lindsay Lorigo. “They offer safe, structured environments where young people can grow, build friendships, and develop important life skills. I’m proud to support these efforts and the organizations that make them possible.”

The Primetime initiative is a partnership with the Erie County Department of Social Services and is funded through the Youth Bureau’s 2025 operating budget.
