Legislator Lorigo
WEST SENECA- Erie County Legislator Lindsay Lorigo secured funding for the West Seneca Police Department to help with training and improving public safety. The money allocated goes towards purchasing equipment for a new training classroom, while some of the funding will go towards outfitting a new snow vehicle with police equipment.
“On behalf of the men and women of the West Seneca Police Department, I am grateful for Legislator Lorigo and the Erie County Legislature and the financial support they provide to help us carry out our mission in keeping our community a safe place to live, work and play,” said West Seneca Police Chief Brian Cosgrove. “The resources we have been able to purchase help us achieve these goals, whether it be through community policing initiatives, training, or storm preparedness. I am proud to have Legislator Lorigo as a partner who is willing to invest in these important areas.”
“I was proud to help secure funding to upgrade the classroom at their new training facility with televisions and audio equipment, giving our officers a better space to train and prepare for the important work they do every day,” said Legislator Lindsay Lorigo. “Investing in public safety will always be a priority.”
Legislator Lorigo met with Chief Cosgrove to see firsthand how the funding has been implemented and to thank the West Seneca Police Department officers for their continued commitment to keeping the community safe.
