Public Input Sought; Second Workshop Takes Place October 21
ERIE COUNTY, NY— The Erie County Departments of Parks, Recreation and Forestry and Environment and Planning are updating the County Forest Management Plan (“the Plan”). The Plan will guide the management of the twelve Erie County Forest Lots, totaling 2,923 acres, located in the Towns of Concord, Holland, and Sardinia.
The County is hosting the second and final public workshop to share the proposed goals and objectives of the draft Plan. The public meeting is scheduled for October 21, 2025, from 6:00 – 7:30 PM at the Chestnut Ridge Casino Meeting Room – located at 6121 Chestnut Ridge Road, Orchard Park, NY.
This is an opportunity to review and provide feedback on proposed management strategies and recommendations of the draft plan and engage with the planning team.

The draft Plan will be available for review until November 3, 2025.
