ERIE COUNTY, PARTNERS SCHEDULE CLIMATE ACTION: SOLUTIONS FOR SMALL BUSINESSES

Event to Help Small Businesses Identify Programs to Implement Sustainable Practices for Tangible Business Benefits

 

Monday September 23, 4 – 6 PM at Buffalo State University Alumni & Visitor Center  

 

 

ERIE COUNTY, NY— The Erie County Department of Environment and Planning, in partnership with the Buffalo State Small Business Development Center, the Western New York Sustainable Business Roundtable, and the Buffalo Purchasing Initiative are excited to invite you to the Climate Action: Solutions for Small Business event. Welcoming remarks at the event will be offered by Erie County Executive Mark C. Poloncarz. 

 

“Now is the time for small businesses to act to maintain and improve their resiliency, sustainability and profitability in a climate-changing world,” said Erie County Executive Mark C. Poloncarz. “This event will aid small business owners in identifying ways to strengthen themselves for the future.” 


Organizers will be joined by small businesses for an evening dedicated to helping businesses identify programs to implement sustainable practices for tangible business benefits. Local businesses will be sharing their sustainable journeys and organizations will be providing solutions and resources to help your business thrive during these times of climate changes. Light refreshments will be provided.
