The Erie County Youth Bureau and Erie County Department of Social Services will soon issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to support youth programs and services which promote well-being and thriving along a continuum of care.
The RFPs will solicit programs and services for the following funding programs:
- Youth Development Programs
- Youth Team Sports
- Youth Sports and Education Programs
- Runaway and Homeless Youth Services
- Supervision and Treatment Services for Juveniles Programs (non-RTA and RTA youth)
The issuing of the RFPs will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 18, with all completed applications due by Wednesday, March 18. More information about each program type can be found at: www3.erie.gov/youthservices/erie-county-youth-bureau .

The mission of the Erie County Youth Bureau is to serve youth and families through asset development and advocacy, prevention and intervention programs that strengthen families and communities. The Youth Bureau has two areas of responsibility: 1) allocation and monitoring of funds supporting youth-serving organizations' 2) implementation of services and programs to justice-involved youth through the Juvenile Delinquency Services Team.
The mission of the Department of Social Services is to engage people in need and provide effective services in collaboration with community partners.
