ERIE COUNTY, NY— Erie County’s beloved Fall Fest returns on Saturday, September 27 from 10:00am - 4:00pm at Como Lake Park in Lancaster. This free, family-friendly event offers a full day of seasonal fun, featuring:
• Over 100 craft vendors, food trucks, and non-profit organizations
• Live entertainment, including performances by The UP Guys at 11:00am and Ten Cent Howl at 1:00pm
• A touch-a-truck area, hayrides, free pumpkins, face painting, and kids’ crafts
• Demonstrations by the Erie County Forestry Bureau demonstrations
• The Buffalo & Erie County Bookmobile, where visitors can check out books and movies, return borrowed materials, or sign up for a library card.
Numerous Erie County departments will be on-site to share information about services and programs available to residents year-round. The Sheriff’s Department will also offer the SAFE CHILD ID program, which helps families document critical information to assist in the event of a missing child.
“Fall Fest is a signature event for our department and a true celebration of community. It’s always rewarding to see residents from across Erie County come together to enjoy the beauty of Como Lake Park, connect with local organizations, and spend quality time with family and friends. We’re grateful to our many partners whose collaboration helps make this event such a success each year,” said Troy P. Schinzel, Commissioner of Parks, Recreation & Forestry.
