Public artwork opportunity at Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens and Isle View Park; selected projects could receive funding of up to $75,000
ERIE COUNTY, NY— Erie County is pleased to announce two new Calls for Artists as part of the Arts in Public Places program, for public art commissions to be installed exclusively at the following Erie County locations: (1) Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens and (2) Isle View Park. This opportunity is for artists residing in Erie County who have not been previously selected to complete an Art in Public Places public art project. Each selected project will receive funding of up to $75,000.
All works will be prominently displayed in each of these locations, providing high visibility and engagement with diverse audiences.
The deadline for applying is Monday, April 20, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. (noon).
A virtual Q&A session will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. Artists interested in applying are strongly encouraged to attend to learn more about the opportunity, selection process, and project requirements.
