Erie County Legislator Joe Lorigo announces that Erie County is seeking applicants for the Cultural Capital Grant Program. The Erie County Capital Projects Committee will be accepting applications until July 11th, 2022 for the new $25 million program that will help strengthen cultural organizations throughout Erie County.
Legislator Lorigo said, “This program will be a great opportunity for our community’s cultural organizations to tackle capital improvement projects they could otherwise not afford or simply could not undertake. I encourage any cultural groups in my district to submit an application and take advantage of this chance to improve your organization.”
This program will run through multiple years and registration for 2022 is open now. An informational WebEx presentation will be held on June 22nd from 5:30pm-6:30pm for anyone who would like to learn more about the program.
