Legislator Jeanne Vinal Presents Proclamation Commemorating Two Eagle Scout Honorees

Erie County, NY – Erie County Legislator Jeanne Vinal, D- Amherst, presented proclamations to Brennan McElroy and Colin Flavin to commemorate their achievement with Boy Scouts of America. (BSA)

Eagle Scout designation is the highest-ranking level within the BSA organization and culminates with the completion of a capstone project. Colin, a Williamsville North student, re-sided a shed at the Buffalo Heritage Museum for his act of service, while Brennan who attends St. Joe’s Collegiate Institute redid a memorial for Billy Wilson at the Williamsville Junior Football Organization.

Both young men are members of Troop 445 out of Williamsville. Brennan also serves as a senior patrol leader for the group. Colin has held leadership roles as well, and both have been long dedicated to the mission of the BSA.

“Both of these young men are stellar role models for not only younger scouts but young people in general. They are active in making their community a better place to live, and I’m proud to honor that commitment to community in my legislative district,” stated Legislator Vinal.
