The Village of Alden is seeking the following donations (new or gently used) for an emergency shelter at the Municipal Building:
Dog crates, DVD’s, Games, Personal hygiene, Coloring books, crayons, diapers. For information contact the Village Clerk, at 716-937-9216x110. We have received two Pack n plays, thank you for your generosity.
Town and Village of Alden Emergency Management Teams Volunteers Needed. The Town and Village of Alden Emergency Management Team is looking for volunteers to help at shelters during winter storms & other emergency events. We are looking for citizens of Alden to help stranded people at shelters. To volunteer, please contact the Town Hall at 716-937-6969 ext. 3, Village Hall at 716-937-9216 ext. 112, provide your name, address & phone number. We will contact you to discuss availability. Volunteers would assist with helping stranded people, both day & night volunteers needed. Volunteers may be needed in the Village and/or at the Alden Town Hall if we have stranded people.
