LORIGO HONORS ZACHARY ARMSTRONG AS CITIZEN OF THE MONTH

ERIE COUNTY, NY — Erie County Legislator Lindsay Lorigo has recognized Zachary Armstrong as Erie County Citizen of the Month. Armstrong is being honored for his numerous contributions to the community.

“Zach Armstrong has made an incredible impact across Erie County. From organizing toy drives and raising awareness about breast cancer and suicide to supporting veterans and families, his generosity knows no bounds. Earlier this year, he even offered free haircuts to corrections officers and their families affected by the strike. We are fortunate to have someone so committed to lifting others up,” said Legislator Lindsay Lorigo.

Armstrong, who grew up in South Buffalo, owns two successful businesses—Armstrong’s Barber Shop and Armstrong’s Armory—where he hosts donation drives for Toys for Tots and events supporting breast cancer awareness and suicide prevention. He also provides free haircuts to all veterans on Veterans Day and continues to find ways to give back to those in need. In addition to his business and charitable work, Armstrong serves on the West Seneca School Board, further demonstrating his commitment to the community.

“It is people like Zach who make Erie County a great place to live. His dedication and generosity set an example for all of us,” said Legislator Lorigo.
