Public Integrity Unit

The Public Integrity Unit was established to crackdown on corruption in all levels of government and help restore the public's trust in our elected officials.

Chief Gary M. Ertel is responsible for the investigation and prosecution of these cases that involve crimes committed by public employees, elected officials, candidates for public office, members of law enforcement and other public servants. Crimes may include, but are not limited to, perjury, bribe receiving, official misconduct, larceny and falsifying business records.

To help root out wrongdoings, the District Attorney's Office encourages the public to report any suspected violations through the Public Integrity Complaint Form.
