INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Our office is currently accepting applications for Fall 2024 interns. The internship runs from approximately Monday, August 26th through Sunday, December 1st. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Interested applicants should submit a resume and cover letter to DAInterns@erie.gov

The Erie County District Attorney's Office Fall Intern Program is open to students who have completed at least one year of law school. The Fall Program is less formal than the Summer Intern Program and is dictated by your class schedule and our needs. All internships are unpaid.

Students will be assigned to a bureau in the office where they will assist with discovery, conduct research and writing, observe trials and hearings, and help Assistant District Attorneys prepare for trials and hearings.

There are currently openings  for full-time Assistant District Attorneys in the Erie County District Attorney’s Office. As of January 1, 2024, the starting salary for newly-hired ADAs is $79,140.
