INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The Erie County DA's Office Internship Program is open to first and second year law students. Interns assist with discovery, conduct research and writing, observe trials and hearings, and help Assistant District Attorneys with all aspects of case management and trial preparation. Interns will be assigned to Buffalo City Court, Justice Court, or a Felony Trial Bureau. Internship opportunities are available in the Fall, Spring and Summer. All internships are unpaid. The application period is currently closed.

There are currently openings for full-time Assistant District Attorneys in the Erie County District Attorney’s Office. As of January 1, 2024, the starting salary for newly-hired ADAs is $79,140.
