INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The District Attorney’s Office is currently accepting applications for Fall 2026 interns. The internship runs from Monday, August 31st through Friday, December 4th. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Interested applicants must submit a resume and cover letter to DAInterns@erie.gov.
The Erie County District Attorney's Office Fall Internship Program is open to students who have completed at least one year of law school. The Fall Program is less formal than the Summer Intern Program and is dictated by your class schedule and our needs. All internships are unpaid.
Interns will be assigned to a bureau within the office where they will assist with discovery, conduct research and writing, observe trials and hearings, and help Assistant District Attorneys with all aspects of case management and trial preparation.
If you are interested in earning course credit, University at Buffalo School of Law offers externship placement with our office for Fall 2026. Please, contact Dawn Skopinski at UB Law School (skopinsk@buffalo.edu) for more information.
