INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The Erie County DA’s Office is now accepting applications for Spring 2026 interns. The internship runs from February 2, 2026, through May 1, 2026. Interested applicants should submit a resume and cover letter to DAInterns@erie.gov by Friday, October 24, 2025. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis.

The Erie County District Attorney's Office Intern Program is open to students who have completed at least one year of law school. The Spring and Fall Intern Sessions are less formal than the Summer Intern Session and are dictated by your class schedule and our needs. All internships are unpaid.

Students will be assigned to a bureau in the office where they will assist with discovery, conduct research and writing, observe court proceedings, and help Assistant District Attorneys prepare for trials and hearings.

If you are interested in earning course credit, UB Law School offers externship placement with our office for Spring 2026. Please, contact Dawn Skopinski at UB Law School (skopinsk@buffalo.edu) for more information.
