Keane announces that a jury found Robert Roy, 42, formerly of Town of Tonawanda, guilty of two counts of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child (Class “A-II” felonies), one count of Criminal Sexual Act in the Second Degree and one count of Rape in the Second Degree (Class “D” felonies). Jurors rendered their decision yesterday afternoon after nearly two days of deliberation following a five-day trial, convicting the defendant of all counts in the indictment.

On multiple occasions between on or about January 2012 and August 2019, the defendant engaged in sexual intercourse and sexual conduct with a child who was less than 13 years old.
