Kathleen Callan is a grant writer and administrator with more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit, higher education and government sectors. A graduate of American University in Washington, DC, Ms. Callan received her Masters in Social Work from the University at Buffalo.
Before working for the district attorney, Ms. Callan worked as Assistant Director of the NYS Area Health Education Center System at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences; Legislative Liaison at the NYS Department of Transportation and Program Director for the American Lung Association of WNY.
She has coauthored and administered numerous grants including projects from the National Institutes of Health, Health Resources and Services Administration, NYS Department of Health and the John R. Oishei Foundation.
