Starting Tuesday, May 7th FeedMore Farm Market Truck will be visiting Akron-Newstead Senior Center every 1st and 3rd Tuesday and the Newstead Public Library every 2nd and 3rd Tuesday from 12:30pm till 1:30pm.
Their aspiration is to help promote that our Farm Market Truck helps underserved populations by bringing fresh, affordable produce within an accessible location, most of which is grown locally during the growing season. What some people may not know is that they are open to the public, year-round! Their goal is to link up with neighboring businesses, organizations and facilities nearby to further promote our service and reach most of the surrounding community. The Farm Market Trucks accepts a wide range of payments including cash, credit/debit, Apple Pay and SNAP and DUFB (Double up program that collaborates with SNAP recipients).
