Due to the ongoing cold weather and higher than normal demand for electric power to our village, the Purchase Power Adjustment rate for the month of March 2025 is projected to be higher than usual. Generation of hydropower from the New York Power Authority’s Niagara Power Project has recently sustained unanticipated curtailment which is also a factor in this issue.
