Emily Jarnot is a Preservation Planner and Niagara Falls Liaison with Preservation Buffalo Niagara, where she has spent the past two years leading a wide range of preservation initiatives. She has successfully landmarked nearly twenty buildings in Buffalo and is known for her engaging public tours, including hard-hat, photography, and dark history experiences at sites such as the Richardson Olmsted Campus, the former Wonder Bread Factory, and The Statler Buffalo. A dedicated researcher with a deep love of local history, Emily has completed numerous private research projects for property owners, helping them uncover and interpret the stories behind their buildings. She also serves as Vice President of the Oakwood Cemetery Heritage Foundation in Niagara Falls, supporting its mission to preserve and educate the public about one of the region’s most historic landscapes. Emily’s work reflects her passion for storytelling, community engagement, and the protection of Western New York’s heritage.
