At the final session for 2024, the Erie County Legislature approved an amendment to a prior agreement that addresses drainage work along Borden Road, from Cheektowaga to West Seneca. That agreement, which was originally passed in July 2020, is for a change in scope of design for drainage work on Borden Road. The design work is being done by Bergmann Associates, Architects, Engineers, Landscape Architects and Surveyors.
“Drainage along this stretch has been an issue for quite some time. Approving this amendment to the previous agreement helps to move this project along. This is the third phase. Drainage along this stretch has been an issue for quite awhile, and I’m glad we will be moving forward,” said Erie County Legislator Lindsay Lorigo.
The third phase of this project is scheduled for completion in 2026.
