LEGISLATOR LORIGO VISITS FISH OF EAST AURORA

ERIE COUNTY, NY — Erie County Legislator Lindsay Lorigo recently stopped by Fish of East Aurora to learn more about their efforts to help provide food and clothing for area families.  The organization is a volunteer, Christian non-profit community entity providing free services to low-income families in the Southtowns.  They now serve more than 300 families each month.

“I met with Judy Lamb who, along with her team of volunteers, dedicate themselves to serve those in need.  This is a great organization doing wonderful things in our community,” said Legislator Lindsay Lorigo.

Fish of East Aurora also has a mobile pantry, runs a Fill a Bag to help feed families, collects toys, gift cards and gently used clothing.  The organization also partners with area businesses who help fundraise for the organization.   They are located at 960 Main Street in East Aurora.   You can learn more about them by checking out their Facebook page “Fish of East Aurora,” or you can contact them at fishofea@gmail.com
